To promote awareness and quality In-home child care on a local, Statewide and national level. To advocate, partner and educate nannies, youths, parents, nanny agencies, educators and Industry service Professionals.  To collaborate and form alliances with other corporations both for profit and not for profit, legislators and communities in establishing and enforcing standards of professional industry practices.

The Goal of The NAA is to strive in reshaping the oldest traditional profession by:

• Advocating as the significant voice in the In-home childcare Industry in raising awareness on issues of healthcare, education, discrimination and employment rights.
• Asking our leaders to introduce and pass a Nanny Bill of Rights, initiate and implement standards and regulations in the In-home childcare Industry. Including establishing action plans designed to educate nannies and safeguarding our children across the board.
